Three Ramadans of ration bags. This year, a table for the riders too.
Since 2024, Rakhshanda Memorial has packed and delivered Rs 300 ration bags every Ramadan — 80 the first year, 100 the next, 200 this year. In 2026 we added a second promise: Wasl-e-Rehmat Iftar, a proper iftar table for Bykea riders still on the road when the fast breaks.

Ramadan Ration Drives
Every Ramadan since 2024, Rakhshanda Memorial has run a ration drive built around one fixed number: Rs 300 per bag — enough flour, rice, oil, pulses, sugar and tea to carry a household through the month. What’s changed each year is scale: from a first-year pilot of 80 bags to 200 bags in 2026, reaching more verified families across Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
This year we also opened a second front: Wasl-e-Rehmat Iftar 2026, an iftar gathering built specifically for Bykea riders — the men who spend the fasting hours delivering food to everyone else’s table.

Before a bag is packed
How we verify a deserving family
Every bag goes to a household that’s been checked, not just registered.
Application & nomination
Families apply directly or are referred by community members, local elders, or mosque committees.
Household visit
An RM volunteer visits the home to confirm the family’s situation and household size in person.
Cross-verification
Details are cross-checked with neighbours or local representatives to rule out duplicate or false claims.
Approval & listing
Verified families are added to the distribution list and matched to a bag ahead of delivery.

Bykea Riders’ Iftar · 2026
Wasl-e-Rehmat Iftar for Bykea Riders
“Wasl-e-Rehmat” — a connection of mercy. A dastarkhwan laid out specifically for Bykea riders: the men who spend the fasting hours delivering iftar to everyone else’s door, and are usually still on their bikes when the azaan calls.
They complete deliveries all day fasting, often breaking their fast alone on the roadside. Wasl-e-Rehmat Iftar 2026 was built to make sure that, at least once this Ramadan, someone was waiting for them with a full table.
