  • Rakhshanda Memorial Welfare Foundation

Dignity is not something we give.
    It’s something we protect.

We don’t build charity around dependency — we build support around self-reliance. Every program we run exists to move someone from needing help to standing on their own, without ever compromising their dignity along the way.

    By Design, Not by Exception

    The principle

We help people stand up — not stay seated.

    6Program Areas

Most relief work stops at the handout. Ours starts there. Everything Rakhshanda Memorial does is built around one question: does this restore a person’s ability to stand on their own, or does it quietly ask them to keep coming back?

    Dependency

Help that keeps returning to the same door, year after year.

    Dignity

Help that hands someone their independence, and then steps back.

    The Khudari Movement

Ending the culture of begging — one dignified alternative at a time.

Khudari runs alongside every program we offer. Where begging has become the only visible option for someone in crisis, we work to replace it — with food security, healthcare, income support, and education — so asking on the street is never the only door left open. If we cannot end the need overnight, we can end the necessity of begging to meet it.
